Meet Justin Van Patten

With deep roots in the Bend-La Pine community, I have dedicated my time and passion to ensuring every child has the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.

I have spent years working alongside local nonprofits such as Furnished Hope and Rock Bottom Hope, organizations committed to lifting up individuals and families in need. As a board member of The Giving Plate for six years, I helped transform it from a traditional food bank into a free community store, ensuring families have access to food with dignity.

Beyond nonprofit work, I have been actively involved in PTO leadership and have worked directly in local schools, creating and facilitating electives for middle school students. I believe in hands-on involvement and innovative solutions that benefit both students and educators.

Now, I am stepping forward to serve on the Bend-La Pine School Board because I believe every student deserves an excellent education, and every parent deserves a voice in their child’s future.
